Top Word Puzzle Games on iOS in Israel Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the word puzzle game category on iOS in Israel saw varied performance among the top five apps. Here's a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

NYT Games: Wordle & Crossword from The New York Times Company experienced a peak in weekly revenue at $381 in mid-December. Downloads reached a high of approximately 483 in the same week, while weekly active users grew steadily from around 3.5K to close to 4.9K by the end of the quarter.

Words of Wonders: Crossword by FUGO BILISIM TEKNOLOJILERI VE YAZILIM TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI showed a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at about 1K in the final week of December. Revenue saw fluctuations, hitting a high of $433 at the start of the quarter. Active users, however, saw a decline from over 14K in October to around 10K by the end of December.

Word Collect : Word Search from Super Lucky Games LLC had a decrease in weekly downloads, dropping to 24 by the end of December. Revenue was relatively stable, peaking at $286 at the beginning of the quarter. Active users showed a decline, finishing the quarter at 164 from an initial count of 368.

Scrabble® GO - New Word Game by Scopely, Inc. experienced stable revenue, with a peak of $248 in mid-October. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, while active users peaked at 163 in late October before declining to 96 by the end of December.

Cryptogram: Word Brain Puzzle from Joyteractive showed significant growth in downloads, reaching a high of 2.2K in late December. Revenue remained fairly stable with a peak of $192 in late November. Active users increased from approximately 9.8K to over 12.6K during the quarter.
